Vera Stepanovna Malinovskaya (1900—1988) — a famous Russian actress, silent movie. She studied ballet in her youth; she made her film debut at the age of 24 in the film “To All the Joy”. She starred with silent movie star Mary Pickford and prominent Russian actor Igor Ilyinsky in the film "A Kiss from Mary Pickford" in 1927. The following year, German film company “Emelka” offered her a role in the movie “Waterloo” by Karl Grune. Malinovskaya left the USSR and spent most of her life in Germany and Italy.
