This collection includes the items printed by one of the biggest Russian publishers in 1925-1931, the Kinopechat (Cinema Printing) / Tea-Kino-Pechat (Theater-Cinema Printing) publishing house. Undoubtedly it is a valuable source on Russian - early Soviet art, cinema, book design as well as contacts between Russia / USSR and West. Many publications of Kinopechat feature an interesting book design. The most interesting artists of their time worked on the design of the Kinopechat books: brothers V. A. and G. A. Stenberg, A. M. Rodchenko, A. A. Ushin, N. P. Akimov, P. S. Galadzhev, K. A. Vyalov, V.I. Kozlinsky, M.P. Getmansky, N.K. Sokolik and many others. The 1920s is a time of unprecedented activity of artists, printers, and printers in Soviet Russia.
