The book is designed in a style of Constructivism. Cover and book design based on sketches of N. Troshin. Graphic works of Zoe Deineka. An analysis of the content and effectiveness of posters is written from the point of view of psychoanalysis (more precisely, its Soviet version of the 1920s, which was soon banned). Numerous illustrations, tables, charts, images of posters in the text. The appendix `` Occupational Safety Posters from Different Countries '' contains images of approx. 130 posters from the USSR, USA, Germany, England, Austria and other countries. The author—David Isaakovich Reytinbarg (1899–1977)—psychologist, specialist in the field of psychology of work and psychology of impact. In 1935 he was arrested on charges of counter-revolutionary activity (for participating in the research and publication of the book `The Language of the Red Army Soldier`). Very rare book, there is only one copy outside Russia.(Worldcat)
